Welcome to Paradigm Boxers. My husband and I, along with our three children, have had a recent move from the Lamont area to the Okotoks, Alberta area. We are fortunate enough to live just outside of Calgary, Alberta on an acreage that offers plenty of trails and adventure for both the two legged sorts and all of our four leggeds as well: the horses and the dogs!
My understanding of animals, their conformation, their dispositions, the predator versus prey relationship, the pressure and release tactics, all began at age 12 when I went on my first trail ride. From that moment on, my love for animals grew and grew, until it became what it is today; a small warmblood horse breeding operation, and a family of boxers that make our lives all the richer! Having said that, I want to express that I am so very thankful for the new learning opportunities the animals present on a daily basis! And for a few mentors along the way! Not a day goes by that I don't learn a little something new!
We have been loyal to the boxer breed since I was 14 years old. Our love began with 'Java', our precious brindle girlie who we purchased from a breeder in Calgary. But as things go, I grew up, went to nursing school, and got married, and had to leave Java at home in Calgary. It was not long into our marriage that my husband and I brought home Diva, our first boxer. From there, we have welcomed a few more boxers into our home.
Our dogs are an active part of our home. They nap on the kids beds or in front of the fire place, they are happy to accompany me on jogs, they act like clowns in the front field, tag along through the trails on a horseback ride or quad ride, become couch potatoes on movie night and even play a mean defense when my son plays ball hockey! They all have grown up with the kids. It is imperitive to me, when considering a female or stud dog for breeding, that they have an exemplary demeanor as I will not risk my kids, or yours.
Interacting with and breeding our boxers for sale has become quite a passion. We breed our boxers for health, and all of our boxers are health tested before breeding. We have spent countless hours pouring over different physical attributes as well as different bloodlines that will best compliment eachother.
Like our adult dogs, our boxer puppies are raised with our family, not in cages. This means each puppy has been started on house breaking and has spent its life inside and outside our home. My three kids, and all their friends, are active in each pup's daily care. Pups are playful, curious and very well socialized! Because I have been actively involved in the medical profession for over a decade, I take extreme care that each puppy has been carefully monitored, from birth, to assure its health, nutrition, and proper growth. We are proud to be Canada's dog breeders.
We invite your questions!
We are also European boxer breeders. We are glad to be your Canada boxer breeders.
